We communicated more during shelter in place and at the beginning of the year and during immediate crises. We have had 2 fires and evacuations this school year and power shut offs. I agree, we should communicate less more often so it becomes the culture and not crisis mode communication.

We communicate more often. We started with training people heavily on learning zoom and canvas. Then we went into humanizing, leadership and daily check-ins.

At WUHS we gathered more stakeholder feedback through surveys, and we created more of a conversational approach to communication. After the spring, we established a weekly communication with staff, and we began sending communications to families weekly.
