Thank you for the update!
Welcome ALL! Glad you are here to listen to SBCOE's story about continuous improvement via starting strong with the executive leadership team!
Here is the link to our Strategies for the Future https://www.sbcoe.org/files/user/26/file/Strategies%20for%20Future%20-%20Final%20Print.pdf
Good to Great is a reference to Jim Collins' work...a source of guidance for SBCOE.
Here, here! Going slow to go FAST! Laser focus on things that matter.
That’s great advice!
Thank you for sharing Strategies for the Future document. Very impressive!
Language matter! Great lesson.
Are you all familiar with the 9 Principles and the 9P platform?
I’m sure the foundation you laid prior to March really helped your staff feel valued and purposeful as we navigate the Pandemic.
Check out StuderEducation.com anytime for a list of our events!
I love that - the power of networking and learning together at events, like this!

Thank you for the 9P link, Casey! All, please check out the resources!
Here is the 9P online leadership development platform that Krystal and Jennifer are referencing: https://9principles.com/
Powerful for setting LASER FOCUS!
Meaning the retreat is powerful for establishing laser focus and setting the tone for the academic year.
Krystal sets this tone clearly and explicitly. Ask her and Jennifer about strategies to do the same, if you are interested.
This is how you get your organization over “the wall” that we reference sometimes. Nice job on the hard work to you both and to your team!
I think that’s so important to be constantly collecting feedback; and especially this year when people are so disconnected from one another.
This is excellent information...thanks for sharing!!
The Keywords aspect is unique to SBCOE....pretty cool way to embed language in another way that sticks.
The Big Why! The students and districts DESERVE it!
LOVE that you put a rounding system in place!!
It’s interesting - in going slow to go fast, you’ve put so much infrastructure in place in an incredibly short (and disrupted!) period of time. You are amazing!
Sharing the results with the staff in an easy to read document after asking for feedback is also a key strategy.
I love this strategy - and so true about it being even more significant during the pandemic than ever before.
“You can see the proud” - love that phrase!
This is what she’s referring to: https://9principles.com/
This is a great way to use and involve the team in 9P, Thank you for sharing this Krystal!
You are amazing!
Great job! I loved the fast pace. Never a dull moment. Lots of notes!
